Five Flavours without barriers
Culture should be accessible to everyone, which is why we are making the greatest effort to ensure that the widest possible audience can participate in the Five Flavours Asian Film Festival.
Since 2020, the festival has been operating online, presenting the majority (minimum 65 per cent) of the film programme on its own VOD platform. People with a wide range of needs can attend the festival in the online format without leaving their home. More than half of the programme of the on-site edition of Five Flavours is presented at Kino Muranów, a venue adapted to the needs of people with mobility impairment.
Every year at least three films will be available with an audio description in Polish, prepared in cooperation with the Culture Without Barriers Foundation.
Audiences can use it via the Kino Dostępne app. More information about the app can be found at https://kinodostepne.pl.
Selected live meetings with Asian guests will be translated into Polish Sign Language and are specially marked in the screening schedule.
Volunteers will be available throughout the festival to assist people with disabilities.
